As a volunteer with DOORWAYS you will give of your time, energy and skills to benefit people living with HIV/AIDS. Your efforts can help us more effectively meet the needs of residents and improve their lives in a number of ways.

Whether you choose to work directly with residents as a companion or activity assistant, or "behind the scenes" as an office assistant or grounds assistant, YOU can make a difference at DOORWAYS.

Examples of volunteer positions:

Office Assistant:
Help staff catch up on office work including mailings, filing, data entry, monthly inventory, etc.

Activity Assistant:
Assist DOORWAYS' Activities Coordinator by leading and participating in a variety of activities for residents such as games, movies, crafts, singing, and parties.

Companion:
Spend quality time with DOORWAYS' Supportive Housing Facility residents by visiting, going on field trips, tutoring, assisting with letter writing, or hosting meals in the dining room. Brighten someone's day!
