Construction Begins on New Jefferson Avenue Campus

GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY LAUNCHES NEW CAMPUS CONSTRUCTION

Due to increasing numbers of people in need and expanding depth and breadth of life-limiting challenges, DOORWAAYS engaged in a two-year exploration with expert consultants an representatives from all stakeholder groups to determine and extent of need and the agency’s capacity for expansion.  This research resulted in the 2018 launch of the first capital campaign in agency history. “Beyond Tonight” would build a $35 million campus located on North Jefferson Avenue. A pioneering model of care, the new campus will use housing as the mechanism to deliver 360 degrees of services, removing access and navigation barriers while creating a comprehensive network of support.

The groundbreaking ceremony was held Wednesday, November 18, 2020. The event program is shown below.  Thank you to all participants and everyone involved in this expansion project.
